Flowcode Support Package for AVR is a package that provides Flowcode examples for the MINI-MAX / AVR-C microcontroller board.
AVR-C processor provides a lot of optimization features for Flowcode coding. By using M-PIPE instruction, the total execution time for the program will be reduced. AVR-C has two memory areas: data area and program memory. Data area contains instruction and data that should be continuously used for the execution. Program memory is memory area where the program has been stored. This package contains PWM example. This is a package with AVR examples and flowcode files. Since the AVR processor has very limited memory (just 256 bytes) you need to make good use of the FLASH memory. If you don’t have a good compiliation tool in mind then you better compile the flowcode examples with AVR-ISP. The package needs flowcode examples in the folder Tools/Flowcode. As long as you know that the Utilites knows which cart to use. I don’t see any problems if that’s all you want to do. Then you only need to install the game (if you want to play it) to the cart and start it. The Multicart will be used to install your games into the correct cart (as the filename tells you). While I understand that a Mega Drive can also be used to play games on a Mega Drive, my solution for the FAQ’s on how to play GamePaks on a NES with a Mega Cart is to use a Mega Cart that is compatible with a N64, such as a MultiCarts. The package contains code examples for most of the symbols on the board. For more information see the document INSTALLATION. Flowcode Support Package for AVR is an open source package provided by Texas Instruments. The package contains Flowcode examples for the MINI-MAX / AVR-C microcontroller board. It is intended to provide a way for some of the tutorial examples to run using Flowcode. For example you can run the examples on the AVR Discovery Board using Flowcode. The Discovery Board is a development board that is based on the 32-bit AVR T8M280 microcontroller. Caveats: Note: AVR includes some hardware special things that make the “core” (entire AVR) code flow slower than the examples shown in this package. The AVR Discovery Board has 4 Kbyte of flash memory, and usually is able to run the examples in the package at a slower clock speed (e.g. 16 MHz instead of 24 MHz). You can verify this is happening by running the examples on your board, and observing the memory consumption number in the “Memory consumption” section of Flowcode’s serial output. When the main application and example code share the same variable it will not work. For example: // CTCPServer only works once. If it tries to start again then it crashes. // If multiple applications try to use the “ctcpServer”, “newClient”, “info”… // then they would clash.
