Mia Milla Bar & Bistro is a great place to start your night off. They have something for everyone, whether you’re interested in sports, art, music, or a good drink. I was there on a Thursday, so the sports bar was open, but the jazz club was closed, so they had the music bar open, and the paintings were up.

They had an open mic night, which was fun. I don’t know if this is common for most places, but I’ve never seen it anywhere. The guys in there were really welcoming, and they put out a great meal. As a main course, they had some delicious grilled marinated chicken with garlic seasoning and herb on a bed of vegetables. I’ve never tried a Chicago style pizza before, but this place was surprisingly good. It was a thin crust pizza, and the cheese, dough, and sauce were all really great.
Drinks were good, and I had a wheat beer, which was refreshing. It was a 64 bodied wheat beer, so it was pretty easy on the stomach. I know that it would have been great on my Irish, but I’ll be honest, I’m not a big fan of beer.
