Windows 7 is released 10 years ago and should not have any specific version requirements.
What you’re seeing is that you either have an older driver (and you should update them), or that the hardware doesn’t support the drivers.
Do you have an Nvidia graphics card? If so, you can change the graphics driver setting in the Control Panel to see if that helps you. As for games, it’s a whole other thing. You may be better off using a Linux platform with Wine.
