This is the tutorial for you if you want to learn how to use the Image Processor as a tool to create a jigsaw puzzle. But what is a jigsaw puzzle and why would you want to create one? Jigsaw puzzles are basically an image of a toy or game, cut into tiles and visually sliced into sections. You can create a jigsaw puzzle out of anything. You can cut out any logo or character, including an image of a car, a building, a celebrity, or even your own design. In this tutorial, you will learn how to use image slicing to create a jigsaw puzzle. First of all, you will have to create a folder where you can store your work. This is a basic design that we are going to use for our puzzle, but you can make a more complex design by adding different elements, such as buildings, people, or any other sliceable design. In this tutorial, we will use a “smiley face” cutout.
ok, lets get started. Lets start by making a puzzle. I am using a vector image from the Graphic Montage vector pack. This tutorial is going to focus on how to export a jigsaw puzzle. So you’ll need to open Photoshop and select Create New. I am going to call my file “jigsaw.psd” and open it in Photoshop.
OK, so let’s start. I need to add slices. I am going to add an extra layer on top. So I want to take this vector image and I want to make the vector image into a jigsaw puzzle. The first thing that I want to do is to make a slice. I am going to add a slice on top of the vector image. When I add a slice on top of an image, Photoshop automatically adds an LAYER. And when I add a layer, the dialog box will pop up.
Now the slices that I add will be kind of an outline for the puzzle

The media here, and in New York for that matter, went nuts when the dust settled on Monday afternoon’s press conference. What we all got to see were the naked truth of Joe Charboneau’s character, and that of a generation of New Orleans Saints coaches, that we all hold in such high esteem. Where he said he got his money from? The parking lot! Where he lied about the Godfather’s garage? He owns that place. Where he said he found a parking pass? He doesn’t have one. Where he lied about meeting Michael Irvin? He did. Where he lied about the NFL enabling him to meet Michael Irvin? He lied! Where he lied about his bio being written before his 2004 wedding to Karen? He lied! Where he lied about following the Saints? He lied.
Just because he was caught in a lie, and takes the 5th on whether or not he’s going to tell the truth about other issues, like the money he got from the Saints, doesn’t make him a scumbag. I’ll never get that. Nor should anyone. But I’ve let some of you guys hang in there with me through this. There was so much to write about Monday and I just kept going in circles. It took the sight of Joe on P*rnhog.com — I know he’s old, but who ever got that big was a scumbag — as the catalyst. And you know what? If I spend the next 6 months writing about Joe, will he talk to me in the press? I don’t know, but you know what? We will never know, because he will never give an interview. Because the New York Times, New Orleans Times Picayune, and ESPN will not ask him questions. I doubt anyone from the New Orleans Media will. The most media Joe will be speaking to will be Ben & Skin.
Joe took the 5th.
I’m not saying the guy’s a scumbag, but I’m saying the thought of him as a coach is just that — a thought. Something to think about after Monday.

When to upload a package to PyPI?
I’m building a Python package with a C library and my goal is to maximize my day to day usage by making it as close as possible to “try.prepare()” before releasing the package on PyPI.
In the past, I’ve used the following scheme:
Setup a release in a private repo on GitHub to deploy the package to my laptop
Write tests and unit tests of the package
Write and test the C library
Generate a tag to deploy the package to the private repo on GitHub
Deploy the package to PyPI
In recent times I’ve seen some packages have a release on PyPI that contains the C library, possibly a README and this package goes to the PyPI folder in a subfolder.
For instance, this package has a “master” branch which has a CI job that (among other things) builds the packages to upload to PyPI.
My question is: what are the benefits/drawbacks of uploading a package with the C library?

This is certainly not a good practice, but many people do it anyway. There are two reasons for this:
If someone new to your project builds the package for you, they have to guess.
When someone new to your project builds the package for you, you build it from sources on their system (the one that’s most convenient for you), which could have different architecture from the host machine. Unless you’re installing a package from some repository, the user has no idea that the package is a cross-platform one.
In this specific case, you said you uploaded it to the private repo on GitHub, but let me clarify: in this particular case, GitHub is serving your product, so they don’t need to actually be aware of it.
If you really want to build it for yourself, I would suggest making it into a simple CLI tool. That way you could make it so that you build the package from sources on your system (the one that’s most convenient for you), but don’t upload it to some private repository, just to the default global one.
As a side note, it is possible to actually upload to a public repository. When you do this, you are publishing that repository for others to use.
So, I would suggest moving to using a simple CLI tool, but it’s not required.
