The first of many high quality visual novels from the Storm Core Studio! See a small preview: This game had 5 main versions. 4 of them are already available, and a fifth has just hit the web recently, so I’ll get the oldies out first. My Review for the main version 1.6: + Story & Concept (I wish I could rate this higher) + Soundtrack (I wish I could rate this higher) + Everything (These were just a few of the many reasons this game was fun for me to play. If you wanna know everything, including. the artwork, and the gameplay, and the lore, and the characters, and the side quests, and the different endings, then read my review. I might be biased, but I think it’s fair to say that this game is a bit above most the games in the genre. + Characters *GON, Kuroi Tsubasa’s lovely mascot, will appear on this page with his adorable design. The characters are a story that could really happen. Just like any of us. I am not exaggerating, this game has all sorts of characters, from the “charmless” girl next door, to the creepy school girl, to the overbearing, dysfunctional family man, to the sweet older sister, to the well-meaning but overly-dramatic mother, and, of course. the freakin’ school mascot with 8 arms. It’s all of the above, and I love it. + Originality (With that said, the characters don’t always make sense, don’t always act like what they are supposed to, and don’t always behave in a way that’s what I’d expect from them, but oh well. They’re just characters with quirks. The story is more important than their exact personalities.) The development team has put in over 120k words into this game, and they have put a lot of effort into developing the lore for the different characters. Not only that, they have also developed a really unique story that has a whole world to explore, dungeons to enter, and a whole city to visit and explore. + Overall It is a great game in every way, from beginning to end. It’s just plain fun. I can’t recommend it enough, at least the main version. If any of you are curious, the separate story version 1.5 is also well worth it. If you don’t mind getting the second story, be
This game is the first of a series of games to be named “Play the Past!”. The objective is that this game will be a smaller and a lighter one that offers a more “impressionistic” experience to the players. As it is impossible for the story of the game to be the same for each and every game, each game will have its own events in a different way, thus the world which the players will play in will be different in the end. It is like a cinema or a book series. In all of these games, the major part of the player’s experience is through the replaying of the game, interacting with the world of the game by reading the text of the game cards and playing all of the events that can come up during the game. Also, in every game there will be 3 different difficulty levels to play each game. Each difficulty level is defined by the number of turns the player has to play the game, ranging from 4 to 12 turns. Play the Past! is different from other wargames in that there is no real objective, i.e., no objective is required to win the game, or to play to the most enemy or to capture the most objectives. Instead, the objective is that the game will give the player an opportunity to learn more about the history through the interactions between the events and the players and lead them to a deeper understanding of what really happened and why. The Play the Past! series of games will be released in 2 series of 4 games each: – The smaller and lighter games – with 4 turns each; – The longer and heavier games – with 12 turns each; Different scenarios, different worlds will be explored in every series of 4 games. Each game will also have its own unique theme and historical background to allow more freedom in the play of the players. Troubleshooting Here are some tips and tricks to get you the most out of Triwave, from the developers of the game 1) Don’t worry if the colors pile up, or things don’t make sense: When you push a color, there are many ways to line up colors from three or more blocks. Don’t be discouraged, just play with your logic a bit and everything will make sense 2) Boosters are very important! To get the most from this game: A one-star booster can take a long time to unlock. Build up more boosters by playing, placing boosters, or clicking on the actual boost button (not the accumulator on the board). 3) Find the Matrix! Use the Left and Right movement to guide the triangle and avoid moving in straight lines, and surround yourself with matching colors to form stacks
