Originally meant to be for the company’s own VR headset, this game was born through the desire to create a shooter that plays like an arcade shmup. All games were created in Unity, in a relatively short amount of time. It began as a simple tech demo. We showed it to our friend who was a demo guy and it went from there. The mouse-driven gameplay makes for a smooth, clear experience. There isn’t a single frame of lag during gameplay. Controls are simple, and easy to move around. The game incorporates a progression system allowing players to unlock levels, powerups, and other things. The game is in very early access. As part of that, and because we want to be as transparent as possible, we have a roadmap. We want to add at least 7 more levels and some minor features. This means the game is very likely to improve, and it should get a lot better over time. Our plan is to get the current version of the game out on Steam while we continue to work on features. About The Team: Myself, I’m an independent game developer from Israel. I’ve worked on a number of games before and I’ve been a part of a few studios as well. For a while, I’ve been wanting to try my hand at game development as a solo developer. I’m partnered with John Aplington-Rand who is the CEO and co-founder of Anima Interactive. John has previously contributed to several projects as a programmer and also an art director. He has solid experience with the Unity engine. I’m also a part of a much larger team at Anima. Our lead artist, Joshua Kirk, has an awesome portfolio for this game that you can see here. Our audio guy, Yoni Shagrir, works mostly on sound effects. He has contributed to several other projects, and I highly recommend him to you if you’re looking for quality sound designers and audio engineers. Chris, the lead programmer, has worked with me in the past on other projects. He’s a great addition to this team as well, having a lot of experience with the XNA development platform. The game was programmed with Unity and the Graphical User Interface and User Experience (UI / UX) was programmed using Kha. The sound effects were done using Audacity.
