AutoCAD LT is a free, community-supported version of AutoCAD that runs only on Mac OS X and Windows computers. To use AutoCAD LT, you must also have a paid AutoCAD subscription.
What is AutoCAD?
AutoCAD is a commercial CAD package that was initially released in 1982 and updated many times since then. It is the world’s leading platform for 2D and 3D computer-aided design and drafting. Developed and marketed by Autodesk, it is used by architects, engineers, and a wide range of users including building information modeling (BIM) professionals and engineers in a variety of industries and businesses.
AutoCAD offers three different product lines: AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, and AutoCAD BIM.
AutoCAD is the most widely used CAD application in the world. It is the only CAD platform to have been certified by the U.S. Department of Defense for use with DoD guidelines.
The AutoCAD platform is a comprehensive offering that includes a suite of powerful software tools for 2D drafting, 2D and 3D modeling, and 3D printing, and a suite of powerful 3D modeling tools for 2D drafting, BIM, and laser scanning.
In 2019, the software is also available as a cloud-based service, AutoCAD Cloud, and as an integrated, cloud-based BIM solution, AutoCAD 360.
AutoCAD Architecture
AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, and AutoCAD BIM platforms are developed and supported by the same AutoCAD team. However, each platform has different features and capabilities. AutoCAD is the most widely used CAD platform in the world, with more than 150 million users worldwide.
AutoCAD LT is a free, community-supported version of AutoCAD. AutoCAD LT lacks certain tools and functionality found in AutoCAD. These include advanced dimensioning, annotation, and model management, as well as a number of other features found in the other platforms. AutoCAD LT is aimed at designers who need basic 2D drafting and modeling functionality and at the architectural, engineering, and BIM communities. It is primarily designed for use on Mac OS X and Windows computers.

User Interface Customization

Lines, arcs, and spline geometry are the primary types of geometric entities in AutoCAD.
Lines and curves
The basic geometric primitives are lines and curves. Lines are parallel or non-parallel to the X-axis. Curves may be either quadratic or cubic. With the ability to zoom into the drawing window, lines can be displayed in any length. Lines can be repositioned by dragging them. Curves can be extended by dragging them. To create an arc, the shape is transformed to a circle or ellipse, then the Arc tool is used. An arc is best used for simple shapes. Curves and arcs can be edited with a variety of tools: Circle, Line Intersect, Move, Offset, Trim, Path, Change Center, Arc (inside or outside), Ellipse, and Vertex Join.
Polylines
Polylines (or multi-lines) are like lines, except they have no thickness. Polylines can be moved in any direction. They can be extended by extending the connected line segments. Polylines can be edited with a combination of tools: Move, Offset, Trim, Change Center, Rectangle (length, height, width), and Extend.
Raster Graphics
To create a raster graphic, a block of pixels is added to the design. The pixels may be colored, sized, rotated, and placed as desired. A raster graphic is not editable, once it has been created. A raster graphic may be converted to an image (rendered), saved as a bitmap, or converted to a vector graphic.
Vector Graphics
To create a vector graphic, the geometric entities of the drawing are converted to geometric primitives. For example, a line is converted to a vector line (or polyline), a circle is converted to a vector circle, etc. A vector graphic is editable, once it has been created. Once a vector graphic is created, it can be modified with a variety of tools: Edit Path, Scale, rotate, mirror, move, and so on.

Open Autodesk Autocad to start creating your model in Autocad.

Export the object
After exporting your object to your desktop create a.max file using the following command in the command line:
> type max600+wobj –wbin –wbin -o filepath.max
This command will create a file max600.wbin in your desktop. Save it.
Open the max file using WinMax2D and find the line starting with model.
Add your model layer to the bottom.
Add your meshes layer (The object you want to export).
Add your control frames and link them to each other and to the top and bottom layer.
Export the model.

Save views of annotated drawings. You can add views to a single drawing for easy navigation of the drawing. Add views to a library of annotated drawings to save time.
