3D modeling of a drawing is the process of creating a 3D model. CAD files have the same file formats as 2D drawings, including DWG and DXF, but lack the 2D characteristics. 3D modeling, then, allows you to create a 3D model of your drawing, rather than having to create a separate 2D representation. There are many different software applications that can be used to create a 3D model from a 2D drawing. 3D modeling can be done using graphics software (e.g. AutoCAD Cracked 2022 Latest Version), or 3D modeling software (e.g. 3D Studio Max or SketchUp).
Interactive 3D modeling allows for 2D drawings to be imported as 3D models, though you can save files in 3D modeling formats (stored in the.dwg format) as well as 2D formats (stored in the.dwf format). When you create a 3D model from a 2D drawing, the lines, edges, and faces of the model are automatically derived from the geometry of the 2D drawing. 3D surfaces and solids can be created from the 2D drawings as well.

There are two ways to create a 3D model from a 2D drawing: the manual method and the automatic method.
Manual method
The manual method is the most straightforward way to create a 3D model. Here, you will use AutoCAD’s 3D workspace to create a 3D model from a 2D drawing. A 3D workspace allows for the creation of 3D models of your 2D drawings, and is composed of three parts: a display, a 3D cursor, and a 3D workspace.
The Display component is the two-dimensional canvas used to display your 2D drawing. By default, your 2D drawing will appear in the Display component, though you may also manually place it in another component.
